St. Patrick's Island Park

Redeveloped in 2015, this 31-hectare Bow River island between East Village and Bridgeland mixes restored river channels and wetlands with a playground, plaza and a nine-metre grassy hill. In summer the restored breach is a place to wade, and in winter the hill becomes a toboggan run.
